Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to the Yo!Dara Publishing website, reader and creator accounts, the submission portal, published series, editorial tools, and related services (together, the “Site”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

Who we are

Yo!Dara Publishing (“Yo!Dara,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a publishing company in the Hikari Create network. References to Hikari Create do not make this Site a substitute for Hikari Create’s separate services or terms.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Site only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms. You must be at least 18 years old to submit work, sign the Creator Publishing License, publish on Yo!Dara, or enter any agreement with us. Series rated Mature are only for readers 18 and older.

Accounts

You must give accurate information, including your date of birth, keep your password confidential, and use one account per person. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us right away at [email protected] if you think your account has been misused. You can download your data or delete your account from your profile page.

Permitted use

You may use the Site only for lawful purposes and in line with our Content Policy. You may not interfere with the Site’s operation; attempt unauthorized access; upload malicious code; scrape, copy, or bulk-download content; artificially inflate views, likes, or follows; impersonate another person; submit unlawful, infringing, fraudulent, threatening, or abusive material; or use Site content commercially without permission.

Reading on Yo!Dara

Series on Yo!Dara belong to their creators. You may read them on the Site and share links to them. You may not copy, re-upload, translate, or redistribute episodes or images, or use them to train artificial-intelligence systems, without the creator’s written permission. View counts and like, follow, and follower totals may be shown publicly. We don’t publicly show which individual readers liked or followed a series.

Our content

The Site, Yo!Dara name and branding, Dara characters, GRIN and 99 Must Die materials, interface, copy, graphics, and other publisher-provided content are owned by Yo!Dara or used with permission and are protected by intellectual-property laws. No rights are granted except the limited right to view and use the Site under these Terms.

Your submissions and ownership

You retain ownership of creative work you submit. By submitting, you grant Yo!Dara a limited, nonexclusive, royalty-free permission to receive, store, reproduce internally, back up, and share the material with authorized personnel and service providers solely to operate the submission system, evaluate the work, communicate with you, and consider a possible business relationship. This review permission ends when it is no longer reasonably needed, subject to backup, legal, security, and recordkeeping requirements.

Yo!Dara does not accept AI-generated art or writing. You represent that the art and writing you submit were created by you and your credited collaborators and were not generated by artificial-intelligence tools, other than tools used for non-creative tasks such as spelling or grammar checks that you disclose. We may decline, remove, or end any agreement for work that breaks this rule.

You represent that you own or control the submitted material, have permission from all necessary collaborators, and have disclosed any prior publication, license, exclusivity, or other restriction. Do not submit work you are not authorized to share.

Publishing on Yo!Dara

Before publishing, creators must accept the Creator Publishing License, which explains the permissions you give us for published work and how to remove it. Published work must follow the Content Policy. Yo!Dara may review, decline, re-rate, hide, or remove published work as described in that policy and the license.

No promise of confidentiality or publication

We use reasonable access controls for submissions, but submitting does not create a nondisclosure, fiduciary, agency, employment, partnership, or publishing relationship. Yo!Dara may already be developing or may later receive material with themes, premises, characters, or elements similar to yours. Submission does not guarantee feedback, response, acceptance, development, compensation, or publication. Any rights acquisition or paid publishing relationship requires a separate written agreement signed by the parties.

Reports, moderation, and copyright

Anyone can report content that may break these Terms or the Content Policy. Reports must be made in good faith. Copyright complaints follow our Copyright & DMCA process. We may close the accounts of repeat infringers.

Communications

You authorize us to contact you about your account, submissions, and published work using your email address. If you join The Next Chapter list, you may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time. Account, submission, and safety messages are separate from marketing.

Staff areas

Staff areas, unpublished work, creator information, and internal notes are restricted. We may suspend access to protect the Site or enforce these Terms.

Third-party services and links

The Site relies on hosting, email, security, and other providers and may link to websites such as Hikari Create or to creators’ own links. We are not responsible for third-party content, availability, or practices.

Availability and disclaimers

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement. We do not promise uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation, any particular editorial result, or that view and follower counts are exact.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Yo!Dara and its affiliates, officers, employees, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages, lost profits, lost opportunities, or loss of data arising from the Site. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so portions of this section may not apply to you.

Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend and indemnify Yo!Dara and its affiliates against claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the Site, your breach of these Terms, or material you submit or publish that violates another party’s rights.

Termination and changes

You may stop using the Site and delete your account at any time. We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, or enforcement. We may revise these Terms by posting an updated version and date, and we will notify account holders of material changes. Continued use after a revision means you accept the revised Terms.

Applicable law

These Terms are governed by applicable law in the jurisdiction where Yo!Dara is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be waived.
